Doctor Visit Cards
As you may be aware in 2023 the government announced the expansion of free GP care to all children under the age of 8 and and to households earning below the new median income threshold.
Eligible current practice patients can now apply as follows:

If your child is aged 6 or 7, you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card.

If your household earns below the median income (€47,000 per year after deductibles) you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card.

Acorn Medical Practice is a GP practice delivering all your family's medical needs in the dynamic town of Ballinagh, Co Cavan.
With Dr McCauley at the helm, we have a varied and experienced team of Clincial and Administrative staff.
The practice was established in Ballinagh in 2023 after moving from nearby Kilnaleck where it had been in existence since 2011.
Acorn Medical Practice is a bright, modern, spacious environment and has ample car parking facilities nearby.
You will find us in the heart of Ballinagh, just opposite the church and 5km from Cavan town.
